Elementary
CKA is a loving learning environment for children. Quality curriculum is chosen to prepare students for the growing demands of higher education. At the same time, a Biblical worldview keeps it all in perspective causing each one to develop morally, become effective communicators, and think critically.
A master teacher knows the old adage: "Tell me and I forget, show me and I remember, involve me and I understand." CKA teachers promote inquiry leading to involvement in the learning process, which leads to understanding. Students transition from lower elementary (K-2) to upper elementary (3-5) and then on to middle school (6-8). These lifelong learners will make a difference in their communities.
The spiritual growth of the child is blended with academic growth. Teachers are chosen who model Christian character through their own lives. And, each day begins with prayer in the classroom. Once a week, local pastors and lay people in the community volunteer to speak in our chapel assembly. God and country are honored by pledges to the American and Christian flags as well as the Bible.
