The maximum class size is 22 students for K-2 and 24 students for 3-8.

The academic program is of high quality and will prepare students for collegiate study. In addition, the school recognizes its role in preparing students for entering a variety of high schools. Standardized test results verify a high level of learning is occurring.

Yearbook and band are part of our curricular activities. Participation in science fairs, math olympics. spelling bees and music competitions is integrated into the student activities calendar.

CKA is yearly approved by the State of Washington meeting standards of health, safety, and teacher certification.
What is the religious emphasis of the school?
As a Christian school, both the methods of instruction and the entire educational program are dependent upon and related to principles found in the Bible. Spiritual values are fostered through the regular teaching of the Bible, holding prayer in high regard, beginning the day with devotions and weekly chapel. CKA is a ministry of Christ Memorial Church. Christ the King Academy is deeply interested in seeing each child accept God's free gift of salvation and becoming a mature follower of Jesus Christ.
Does the school encourage parent involvement?
Parental involvement is encouraged in a variety of activities, including field trips, festivals, chapel, school banquets and classroom helpers. Parents for CKA Chairs meet monthly for planning.
What kind of Fine Arts Program is offered?
The school offers band for 4th through 9th grade, choir in elementary, and recorders in 3rd grade.
Does the tuition cover the full cost of education at Christ the King Academy?
No, it does not. Each year friends, families and alumni contribute in some manner to the school, which allows for a balanced budget. It is imperative that every family make plans to participate in activities or fundraiser such as the yearly Marathon and Auction.
