Junior High
The junior high student is very special. This is a time when their lives and emotions are ever changing. CKA offers a loving environment in which they may make mistakes, yet are held accountable. We teach students to think critically in the context of a biblical world view. We help students develop their Christian character and want to prepare students for useful Christian service.
Our program is intended to help the student transition from junior high to high school (9-12). The school’s core foundational academics, integrated with a biblical world view, helps students to become effective communicators and think critically.
The junior high set of courses offer a basic academic foundation that will guide students to future successes. Subjects of English, history, math, science, and Bible are given special emphasis. We also give additional opportunities to explore subjects involving their gifts in performing arts and technology.

Spiritual
Weekly Chapels – CKA is blessed with many pastors and lay people in the community who give of their time to speak in our chapels. The students worship the Lord in song and listen to a special speaker. The junior high students have their own Worship Team of instrumentalists and singers that lead other students in praise before our speaker.
Each classroom begins their day with prayer. A special curriculum is chosen as Bible is core to the student growth. The focus of the teachers is to model and train each child to follow after Jesus Christ.
